To purchase any of the rugs on this site, please contact us with the rug name and where possible, the reference number. Upon receipt of valid credit card details we will freight your rug to you, anywhere in the world. This site does not support transactions at this stage, so please either telephone or email us to discuss your requirements.

We are happy to offer an in-home approval service to our New Zealand customers.

BILL & MARCIA DISSE
Studio Seventy One is owner-operated by Bill & Marcia Disse.

Together they have been expanding their shared interest in hand woven textiles for over 20 years.

Marica Disse is an expert in the repair and restoration of oriental carpets. She has a wealth of background experience in weaving, spinning and natural wool dying with a special interest in vegetable based dyeing.
Marcia has been repairing capets for 20 years, weaving for 30years and continues to give weaving and vegetable dyeing classes.

Bill Disse makes and markets 'LANOSILK' a natural vitamin-e enhanced lanolin based skin care product.

LOCATION
The Studio is opposite the main wharf on Beach Rd, Akaroa.

Opening hours generally coincide with the daytime hours of the award winning Harbour71 resturant which occupies the ground floor.


All repair work is undertaken here.

Akaroa is 80km SE of Christchurch and is a pleasant day's outing.
